Operations Associate

Overview Vacu-Braze, Inc. is a specialty thermal processing company service aerospace, medical, defense, power generation, and industrial customers throughout the United States. We are seeking a dependable and motivated Operations Associate to support operations in our Bulk Vacuum and Atmosphere Processing departments. This is a hands on role responsible for fixturing jobs for heat treat, unloading heat treat loads, testing processed product, and utilizing a forklift for handling tasks. This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy physical work in a fast paced environment. This is an excellent position for a candidate looking to learn about a specialized industry. Duties Load and unload customer product for vacuum and atmosphere furnaces Assemble furnace loads utilizing best practice fixturing methods Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and cranes to assist with material handling Assist furnace operators and supervisors with daily production activities Participate in hardness testing of processed work Properly document work performed on job travelers Work collaboratively with production, engineering, and customer service teams Follow all stated safety procedures and make suggestions for continuous improvement Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. consistently Comfortable working in an industrial environment with elevated temperatures Willingness to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment

Pay:

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
