340B Operations Specialist

Position Summary :

The 340B Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting the operational, compliance, and reporting functions of the organization's 340B Program. This position ensures program integrity through auditing, patient record management, data reporting, and coordination with pharmacies, manufacturer rebate platforms, 340B team, and clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct monthly Curant/Mistr audits to ensure patients, medications, and providers meet 340B eligibility requirements and program definitions.
• Create and maintain patient information and all relevant supporting documentation from the Mistr platform, ensuring accurate entry into the Athena EMR system.
• Coordinate with Patient Care Navigator as needed regarding positive test results reporting for linkage to care and/or treatment.

Coordinate and ensure remediation of duplicate discounts or diversion findings identified through self-audits with 340B contract pharmacy. Prepare and manage monthly data reporting for eligible 340B prescriptions and patients across all contracted pharmacies. Provide monthly PrEP Review reports to Patient Care Navigators and clinical staff to assist in optimization of PrEP program. Assist the Director of the 340B Program with oversight and maintenance of manufacturer and rebate platforms, including 340B ESP, Beacon, and Truzo. Coordinate with contracted pharmacies to ensure appropriate system access is established for required report uploads. Upload biweekly reports to manufacturers and rebate platforms when pharmacy uploads are unavailable. Manage daily/weekly encounter file SFTP uploads to contracted platforms, including Walgreens, Accredo, and Wellpartner. Monitor data integrity and ensure timely submission of all required reports, files, and supporting documentation. Maintain effective external relationships with contracted pharmacies and third-party administrators as needed. Ensure confidentiality and security of patient health information in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies. Support ongoing compliance initiatives and assist with internal and external audit preparation as required. Participate in the Apexus PVP's ongoing 340B education modules as available. Assist or collaborate with 340B Compliance Specialists as needed. Assist Director of 340B Program as needed.

Education/Professional Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Data Entry experience required
• Experience with Microsoft Excel preferred
• EMR systems experience preferred
• Knowledge in 340B program preferred
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple daily tasks. Licensing/Certification
• 340B University Certificate required

Physical Requirements:

This position is a mostly sedentary position with frequent sitting, some standing and walking.

Work Environment:

• Remote position
• Occasional travel to the Tuscaloosa office may be required.

$52,000.00 per year
