Client Care & Scheduling Coordinator Full-Time Opportunity - Starts Part-Time During Training Zoomin Groomin Lake County is a local family-owned luxury mobile pet grooming company serving pet parents throughout Lake County. We provide one-on-one, cage-free grooming right at our clients' homes in our fully equipped grooming vans. As our company continues to grow, we're looking for a Client Care & Scheduling Coordinator to become one of the primary points of contact for our clients. This role is ideal for someone who loves pets, enjoys talking with people, and takes pride in providing exceptional customer service. You'll help pet parents schedule appointments, answer questions, follow up after appointments, and build lasting relationships with our clients and their pets. We're looking for someone who is warm, personable, organized, and excited to grow with our team. This position will begin part-time during training and onboarding, with the goal of becoming a full-time role shortly thereafter. Initial in-person training is required, with the opportunity for hybrid or remote work for the right candidate. Responsibilities Answer incoming calls, texts, emails, and online inquiries Help guide pet owners through our booking process and service options Provide quotes and schedule appointments Follow up with prospective clients who have not yet booked Conduct follow-up calls with existing clients after appointments to gather feedback and support client retention Manage appointment confirmations, schedule changes, and cancellations Help fill openings and maximize schedule efficiency Support rebooking and retention efforts Maintain accurate client records and notes Assist groomers with schedule-related needs throughout the day Help monitor client satisfaction and resolve routine client concerns Support administrative projects and office operations as the company grows What We're Looking For A genuine love of dogs, cats, and the people who love them A friendly, positive personality and strong people skills Excellent phone, text, and email communication skills The ability to make clients feel heard, valued, and cared for Strong judgment and problem-solving ability Highly organized and detail-oriented Comfortable handling multiple conversations and tasks throughout the day Reliable, self-motivated, and proactive Comfortable learning new technology and scheduling software Ability to work independently while supporting a team Helpful, But Not Required Customer service experience Scheduling or calendar management experience Veterinary, grooming, or pet industry experience Office or administrative experience Bilingual skills Most importantly, we're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, loves pets, communicates well, and wants to grow with our team.
