Job Description

Position Overview This summer The Montage Portfolio is seeking an Operations & Events Coordinator to support The Nike Circuit with the planning and execution of volleyball events and day-to-day operations! This role is involved throughout the entire process: research / idea development, event staff recruitment, planning / organizing information, and executing on-site operations at events. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented and self motivated to produce quality events.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Operations & Events Director in planning and executing large-scale volleyball events in convention centers around the country. Recruitment / management of onsite event staff (court set-up / tear-down groups, admissions workers, etc) Support administration with tasks such as data tracking and email communication Conduct research to support vendor selection and program / activation planning Coordinate with vendors, venues, and the internal team to ensure smooth event logistics Help with setup and breakdown of event spaces during event season Manage on-site logistics and event communications Provide on-site or remote event support as needed Contribute to post-event evaluations and reporting Perform other operations-related duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Event Management, Business, Communications, or a related field Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Adaptability & able to "go with the flow" Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Creative, proactive, and eager to learn Flexible schedule, including occasional evening or weekend work for events
