Homecare Scheduler/Office Assistant (Full Time)

Key Responsibilities:
Schedule and coordinate caregiver assignments for clients in the Williamsburg area. Communicate with clients and caregivers regarding schedule changes, confirmations, and updates. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of caregiver availability and client appointments. Resolve scheduling conflicts and ensure coverage for all client needs. Collaborate with the care management team to optimize scheduling and service delivery. Track and report on scheduling metrics, including missed visits and staffing gaps. Support onboarding of new caregivers by scheduling training and orientation sessions.
Qualifications:
Previous 1 year experience in scheduling, healthcare administration, or homecare coordination. Preferably with experience using AxisCare. High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred. Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with scheduling software, Microsoft Office Suite, or other related tools. Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends as needed. Knowledge of homecare industry standards and HIPAA compliance preferred.
