Compensation:
$24.04-$28.85 per hour ($50,000-$60,000 annually DOE) How to Apply To stand out, email Elena Ehrlich at elena.ehrlich@hhcare.net and tell us about your administrative, operations, healthcare, or office support experience and what interests you about joining a growing hospice organization. Strong applicants often share examples of how they've improved processes, supported busy teams, managed competing priorities, or helped keep an office or healthcare operation running smoothly. The Best Operations People Rarely Get The Spotlight. They're the people solving problems before anyone notices them. They're the reason meetings are organized, information is accurate, schedules stay on track, and teams have what they need to succeed. When operations run smoothly, it's often because someone behind the scenes is making hundreds of important details come together every day. At Superior Hospice, we're looking for that person. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, communication, coordination, and helping a team perform at a high level. You'll work closely with hospice leadership, clinicians, patients, families, and community partners while helping support the daily operations of a growing healthcare organization. If you're the type of person who enjoys wearing multiple hats, staying organized in a fast-moving environment, and being the person others depend on, this could be an excellent opportunity. Why Join Superior Hospice? $24.04-$28.85 per hour Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, holidays, and 401(k). Growing healthcare organization with long-term career opportunities. Highly visible role supporting both clinical and operational leadership. Opportunity to learn multiple areas of healthcare operations. Collaborative, team-oriented environment. Meaningful work supporting patients, families, and clinicians. Stable Monday through Friday schedule with limited weekend responsibilities. What Makes This Role Different? Many administrative positions focus on a single function. This role touches nearly every part of the organization. One moment you may be preparing information for an interdisciplinary team meeting. The next you may be coordinating physician orders, supporting patient intake activities, assisting clinicians in the field, helping resolve operational challenges, or ensuring important documentation reaches the right people. This position offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to become a key contributor within a growing hospice organization. What You'll Be Doing Provide administrative and operational support to hospice leadership and clinical teams. Coordinate schedules, calendars, meetings, and internal communications. Prepare materials and reports for interdisciplinary team (IDG) meetings. Support patient intake processes and maintain accurate patient records. Update and maintain information within the EMR system. Track admissions, discharges, transfers, census changes, and patient updates. Process physician orders, plans of care, and clinical documentation. Coordinate communication between clinicians, providers, facilities, patients, and families. Assist with billing support, record review, and workflow coordination. Process DME orders, supply requests, and inventory needs. Support office operations, special projects, and process improvement initiatives. Serve as a trusted administrative resource for field staff and leadership. What We're Looking For High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree or higher preferred. 1-3+ years of administrative, operations, office management, healthcare support, or related experience preferred. Experience in healthcare, hospice, home care, senior living, medical office, or clinical settings is highly valued. Comfortable learning and utilizing EMR systems and Microsoft Office applications. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail. Professional, dependable, and resourceful approach to problem solving. Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment.
