The IT & Operations Coordinator supports TruNorthe's internal teams by providing day-to-day technical assistance while also contributing to key operational and administrative functions. This role serves as a central point of support for employees across the organization, ensuring reliable access to systems, devices, and tools, while also helping maintain efficient internal processes. In addition to troubleshooting common IT issues and supporting hardware and software needs, this position plays a critical role in user onboarding and offboarding, asset management, and internal operations support. The IT & Operations Coordinator will partner closely with both IT and Operations to ensure a seamless employee experience, from provisioning equipment and system access to supporting company-wide initiatives. This role directly impacts employee productivity and organizational efficiency. The ideal candidate is both technically capable and highly organized, with a proactive mindset toward problem-solving, process improvement, and leveraging tools (including automation and AI) to enhance workflows.
Key Responsibilities IT Support:
Troubleshoot user issues including: Username/Passwords access Software and licensing issues Hardware and device issues Installation and setup Network connectivity Respond to internal support tickets and user requests in a timely manner. Train users on hardware, software, and internal systems. Support users remotely across multiple U.S. time zones. Identify opportunities to leverage automation and AI tools to improve internal processes and efficiency. User Lifecycle & Asset Management Own end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes for employees and contractors, including: Provisioning devices and system access Assigning and managing software licenses Shipping and receiving equipment Perform device intake, wiping, reimaging, and redeployment. Maintain accurate inventory of all IT assets and equipment. Ensure proper deactivation of accounts and recovery of assets during offboarding. Partner with Operations to ensure a smooth onboarding experience. Operations & Administrative Support Scan, sort, and file incoming physical mail across all company entities. Manage company swag logistics, including: New hire welcome packages, 90-day milestone boxes, Holiday gifts Assist with vendor onboarding processes, including: Sending contracts via Docusign, collecting and organizing vendor documentation, maintaining vendor records and files Manage state compliance tasks, primarily triggered by incoming mail and official correspondence. Field and coordinate Certificates of Insurance (COI) requests from project teams. Support the Operations team with internal initiatives, process improvements, and special projects. Assist with general administrative tasks to improve operational efficiency.Required Qualifications:
Strong understanding of Windows environments and basic device troubleshooting Familiarity with Android devices and mobile configurations Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities High attention to detail and process-oriented mindset Strong interpersonal skills and ability to support users effectively Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and support decision-making Nice to haves: Experience with Azure AD or Microsoft Entra Familiarity with MDM systems (e.g., Intune) Experience with inventory management systems Basic scripting or PowerShell knowledge CompTIA A+ or similar certification Why Join TruNorthe?
