Grounded AI is a fast-growing Humboldt County-based AI implementation firm that helps local businesses use practical AI tools to save time, improve operations, and bring modern technology into everyday work. We are looking for a part-time Operations Associate to support day-to-day business development, client communication, and content operations. Responsibilities Client outreach and follow-up communication Scheduling meetings and helping keep client/admin workflows organized Drafting social media posts, newsletters, and client testimonials Making website content updates Supporting content and outreach systems as Grounded AI grows Helping document repeatable processes and identify places where AI tools can save time Ideal Qualifications Strong written and verbal communication skills Organized, reliable, and comfortable managing follow-up tasks Interest in AI tools and how they can support small business operations Ability to write clearly and professionally for emails, newsletters, social media, and website content Comfortable learning new tools and documenting repeatable processes Detail-oriented approach to scheduling, client communication, and content updates Able to work independently and follow through on assigned tasks Comfortable communicating with small business owners and local professionals Nice to Have Experience with social media content, newsletters, websites, or customer/client communication Familiarity with tools like Canva, Lovable, Google Workspace, Notion, or similar platforms Experience using AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Codex for writing, organizing, research, or workflow support Interest in entrepreneurship, marketing, operations, consulting, or local business development Prior internship, part-time work, or volunteer experience in an administrative, marketing, communications, or customer-facing roles About the Role This role will support Grounded AI's day-to-day operations and growth, including client outreach, scheduling, content creation, website updates, and internal systems organization. The ideal person does not need deep technical experience, but should be curious about AI, willing to learn new tools, and able to communicate clearly and professionally. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn how a growing AI implementation firm works with local businesses, while helping build the repeatable systems that allow the company to scale. The role could start as project-based or part-time, with the possibility of evolving depending on fit and business needs.
