Job Description

We are a growing real estate and property management company seeking a highly organized, dependable operations assistant to help manage day-to-day tasks and keep everything running smoothly. This role is focused on execution, coordination, and follow-through — not sales or learning how to become a real estate agent or property manager. Responsibilities include coordinating vendors (maintenance, repairs, inspections), communicating with tenants and property owners, scheduling appointments, managing calendars, following up on tasks to ensure completion, assisting with property listings and administrative work, and handling occasional local field work such as property check-ins, meeting vendors, and posting notices. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, communicates clearly, and takes ownership of responsibilities without needing constant direction. You should be comfortable managing multiple tasks at once and staying organized in a fast-moving environment. This position is primarily remote with some local field work required. Reliable transportation is required. Candidates must have strong communication skills, be comfortable using basic technology (email, spreadsheets, apps), and be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening. The role starts at 15 hours per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, flexible between 9 AM - 3 PM) and has the potential to grow into a full-time position within 6 months based on performance.
