Project Controls Scheduler

Position Overview This is the intermediate level within the Project Controls classification hierarchy. Professionals at this level are responsible for initiating and completing routine project controls assignments with general oversight. The role requires the effective application of fundamental project controls principles to work that is moderately complex and varied. This position is primarily assigned to a high volume of "White" projects as defined by the Project Management Center of Excellence (PMCoE) Project Profile Matrix. The role is focused on project scheduling, and candidates must have hands‑on experience using Primavera P6 as the primary scheduling tool.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Primavera P6 Apply project controls principles and procedures to moderately complex scheduling assignments Lead and facilitate schedule review meetings with project teams Partner with project stakeholders to gather required inputs and validate schedule assumptions Analyze schedule impacts, progress updates, and changes Support consistent scheduling practices across a high volume of projects Collaborate with internal project teams and external suppliers/vendors Communicate effectively with stakeholders across multiple organizational levels

Required Qualifications:

Associate degree (two‑year college or university) in business, finance, project management, engineering, technical field, or equivalent Minimum of 2 years of project controls scheduling experience using Primavera P6 Minimum of 5 years of project controls scheduling experience using Primavera P6 in lieu of a degree Working knowledge of project controls principles Project management and project controls concepts Scheduling software (Primavera P6 required) Financial tools and spreadsheets Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (four‑year college or university) in business, finance, project management, engineering, technical field, or equivalent PMI or AACE certification, including but not limited to:

PMP, CAPM, PMI

ImpOE Pay:

$50.00 - $55.00 per hour
