Remote Patient Access Scheduler

Job Summary Our client is seeking highly reliable and tenured professionals for a remote contract-to-hire opening. As a Patient Access Scheduler, you will be the first point of contact in the patient care journey, handling back-to-back inbound and outbound calls, gathering demographic information, and scheduling medical appointments. This role requires a focus on efficiency, quality, and a commitment to providing excellent patient service. Key Responsibilities Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound patient calls routed automatically through the system. Gather patient demographic information, pre-register insurance coverage, and schedule patients for medical appointments. Support both hospital and outpatient teams. Educate patients on self-service options and provide clear answers to inquiries. Maintain a 97% or higher quality score.

Meet performance metrics:

Average of 55 calls per day with a 6.5-minute average handle time. Participate in mandatory daily on-camera team huddles and meetings. Qualifications Experience working with EPIC within the last 2 years. A quiet, dedicated workspace and comfort being on camera. Minimum 25 MBPS internet speed, no hotspots. Strong customer service experience & comfortable taking 55+ inbound calls per day. High School Diploma or GED Equivalent. Skills Experience with EPIC and Epic cadence. Experience with healthcare scheduling or contact center experience. Experience with the Five9 telephony system. Medical terminology knowledge. Additional Requirements M-F Open 7:30 am-7:30 pm, 8-hour shift within this window aligned to their time zone.
