Hybrid Role Job Summary:
The DMPK Operations Research Associate will be a key member of the Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK) team within the Nonclinical Development and Clinical Pharmacology (NDCP) department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Support DMPK Operations to ensure high-quality study execution, data integrity, and efficient workflows across in vitro ADME and in vivo PK studies.
Collaborate across functional areas to support the building and maintenance of the data infrastructure with the Digital Transformation Team.
Support standardized data management workflows, including raw data entry, organization, and upload into internal Electronic Laboratory notebook (ELN) systems and databases, utilizing AI-assisted tools.
Assist with the implementation and maintenance of workflow documentation, SOPs, QC guidelines, and operational tracking tools.
Assist with coordinating outsourced DMPK studies at CROs, including study initiation, timeline tracking, and management of study-related documents, study data, and reports.
Requirements and Qualifications:
A highly motivated individual with a
B.S./M.S.
in a relevant field, including biology, chemistry, and pharmaceutical sciences, with 0-3 years of industry experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and accuracy.
Demonstrated high skill sets in organizing documents and strong multi-task capabilities.
Ability to work in a collaborative team setting and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting operational processes, including purchase orders, invoices, or contract workflows.
Experience with ELN systems and AI-assisted data management.
Experience supporting cross-functional project teams preferred.
Good understanding of ADME/PK assays or LC-MS-based bioanalysis assays in drug discovery. Bayside Solutions, Inc. is not able to sponsor any candidates at this time.
