SCHEDULING COORDINATOR

As the Scheduling Coordinator, you will contact families to ask screening questions and schedule their children for assessments with our knowledgeable and caring team. Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities Processes referrals to determine which evaluators are best equipped to assess the needs of child's presenting concerns, including whether additional language assessment is needed. Schedules IDA assessments through telephone screening with child's caregiver, including verification of personal information. Provides caregivers with necessary preparation instructions (i.e. complete and/or send needed paperwork, briefly explain assessment intake process). Updates master scheduling calendar for all assessors and notifies them of appointments and any scheduling changes. Communicates with family, funding/referral source/staff and any others. Communicates with referring agency regarding scheduled assessments and related information and documentation. Contacts facility locations to schedule IDA assessments as needed. Arranges for interpreting services in accordance with family needs. Remains knowledgeable of program database, to input and maintain appointment and assessment information. Completes all paperwork in a timely fashion. Prioritizes referrals to ensure assessment and collateral are completed and submitted within 21-day timeframe. Values Innovation

Previous scheduling experience preferred. Read, write, speak, and understand English and Spanish. There is also an option for remote work to be completed at your home. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to see, talk, hear, walk, bend, stoop, sit, stand, reach, and lift objects weighing up to ten pounds repeatedly during a shift.
