This role is essential to maintaining the quality, consistency, and timing of every guest experience. As the final checkpoint before food reaches the dining room, the Expeditor ensures each dish meets our standards for accuracy, presentation, temperature, and execution. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where teamwork and precision are critical. Key Responsibilities Manage the flow of food from the kitchen to the dining room to ensure smooth and efficient service. Act as the primary liaison between chefs, cooks, servers, food runners, and management. Verify that all dishes are prepared correctly and match ticket specifications before leaving the kitchen. Inspect plates for proper presentation, portioning, garnishes, and temperature. Monitor and coordinate timing of courses to ensure a seamless dining experience. Ensure all guest allergies, dietary restrictions, and special requests are communicated and executed accurately. Maintain organization and cleanliness of the expo station throughout service. Assist in coordinating large parties, family-style dining experiences, and multi-course menus. Address service concerns quickly and communicate solutions effectively with both kitchen and front-of-house teams. Support adherence to all food safety, sanitation, and company standards. Qualifications Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred, with kitchen or expeditor experience strongly encouraged. Strong understanding of food quality standards and restaurant operations. Ability to multitask and remain composed in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to consistency. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-first mentality. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
