Position Overview:
TradeWind Services is seeking experienced Schedulers and Planners to support large-scale nuclear and environmental projects at various Department of Energy (DOE) and National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) facilities across the United States. These positions will provide direct support to project management, engineering, construction, and operations organizations responsible for executing mission-critical capital and maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience developing and maintaining integrated project schedules and work plans in highly regulated nuclear environments. Candidates with prior DOE, NNSA, commercial nuclear, naval nuclear, or other complex industrial project experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and status resource-loaded integrated schedules using Primavera P6. Support detailed planning for engineering, procurement, construction, startup, and operational activities. Integrate schedule logic across multiple disciplines and organizations. Analyze critical path, near-critical path, float trends, and schedule performance metrics. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, construction managers, and work control personnel. Prepare schedule narratives, milestone reports, and variance analyses. Support baseline development, change control, and schedule risk assessments. Interface with cost and project controls personnel to support integrated planning and forecasting. Assist in development of recovery schedules and what-if analyses. Ensure schedules align with project objectives, contractual requirements, and regulatory commitments.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business, or related discipline; equivalent experience may be considered. 5+ years of scheduling and planning experience on large, complex projects. Proficiency with Primavera P6. Experience with integrated project schedules and critical path methodology. Strong understanding of project controls and scheduling best practices. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting DOE, NNSA, commercial nuclear, or other highly regulated facilities. Knowledge of DOE Order 413.3B project management requirements. Familiarity with Deltek Cobra, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Excel. Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS). Prior experience supporting plutonium, weapons, nuclear production, waste processing, or environmental remediation projects.
