Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Scheduler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing appointments and ensuring smooth operations within our medical office. This position requires excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of medical terminology, as well as experience in scheduling within a clinical environment. Duties Manage and coordinate patient appointments efficiently to optimize clinic workflow. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure all patient information is up-to-date. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries and resolving scheduling conflicts. Utilize eClinicalWorks software for scheduling, billing, and maintaining patient records. Collaborate with front desk staff to ensure seamless patient check-in and check-out processes. Assist with medical billing tasks as needed, ensuring accuracy in processing claims. Stay informed about dental terminology to effectively communicate with patients and staff. Support the overall management of the medical office by performing additional administrative tasks as required. Qualifications Previous experience in medical office management or a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with medical records management and medical billing processes is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with patients and healthcare professionals. Proficiency in using scheduling software, particularly eClinicalWorks, is a plus. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively. Knowledge of dental terminology is beneficial but not mandatory. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
