Scheduler- Patient Access Center

The Patient Access Center Scheduler is responsible for performing secretarial, clerical, communication, customer service, basic medical terminology, radiology scheduling, interacting directly with the radiologists and clinical Imaging staff. This position requires knowledge of the various Imaging exam preps and interactions involving order in which multiple exams need to be scheduled or which cannot be performed on same day. Personnel in this position must understand and operate information systems software including, but not limited to Order Management, Scheduling, Radiology, Electronic Medical Record, and Order Fax system. This position is also be responsible for exercising professional judgment while performing services in a demeanor complimentary to customer service and medical ethics. Other duties as assigned.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required. Additional education in business or medical field preferred.
