Job Description
Position Summary Works under the direction of the Operations Manager. Assisting with the planning, implementing, and monitoring of operational activities at CVRCC. Performs a variety of specialized activities and functions with planning, collection, and/or analysis of information required for decisions regarding staffing, funding, and department's programs and services.
Pay Grade:
44 Salary Commensurate with Experience and Education Minimum Qualification Four (4) years of progressive administrative, clerical, or operational experience; AND High school diploma or possess GED; OR Three (3) years of progressive administrative, clerical, or operational experience; AND One (1) year of college study (30 semester hours or 36 quarter hours) from an accredited college or university.PROOF OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND/OR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.
Duties and Responsibilities Organizes office operations & procedures. Meets and provides assistance to staff and the external community in a courteous manner. Maintains calendars of management-level staff. Handles external and internal office communication. Reviews, formats, and edits materials to ensure accuracy. Assists staff with organizing community events. Assists all staff with travel authorizations and reimbursements in timely manner. Maintains a filing system of all executed contracts and grants. Maintains agency inventory to ensure optimal allocation of resources. Performs data entry and analysis to produce monthly and quarterly reports. Assists with coordinating all internal and external meetings. Maintains all agency conference rooms and lobbies to ensure professionalism and upkeep. Maintains productive relationships with agency vendors. Performs other related duties as required or directed. KSAs Ability to make actionable & achievable plans. Ability to maintain confidentiality to sensitive information. Skilled in utilizing MS Office Software (Word, Excel, PPT). Ability in taking & transcribing meeting minutes. Ability to communicate ideas clearly, concisely, and effectively verbally and in writing. Ability to engage officials, employees, and the public with courtesy, tact, and professionalism Ability to work under pressure, manage time efficiently, & meet deadlines. Special Requirements Must pass a criminal background check Must possess a valid Tennessee Driver's License or secure one by date of employment Must have daily access to an operable automobile and meet County requirements for automobile insurance as of the date of employment Must be able to work evenings and weekends as required.
