Certified Company, has an immediate need for an Operations and Expediting Coordinator (Afternoon shift). A successful candidate will have a good understanding of specialty gases, aerosol propellants, alternative fuels, NGL refrigerants, and foam blowing agents. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Reports directly to the Plant Manager. Communicate with customers in a polite, professional efficient manner. Enter orders and related data into the Enterprise Resource System (Deacom). Receive orders from customers and coordinates order entry with Customer Service, this would include after-hours or weekend orders that need to be input. Distributes orders to Transportation, Customer Service, Order Processing, Production Planning and Production. Assist with the Bill of Lading process including the entering of data, filing etc. Assist with ordering, transportation, sampling, and final freight arrangements for the direct ship process. Certify hazardous materials shipments comply with Hazardous Materials Transportation Act Regulations. Maintains current certification with HazMat University. Participates in all dispatching responsibilities. Input data related to the quality of the product into Deacom. Assist in correcting errors with production sales orders for the Beaumont plant. Move and adjust inventory within Deacom when needed to fulfill and close sales and customer orders. Assist with month end reporting and closing of sales orders for the Beaumont plant location in Deacom. Maintaining and updating monthly high purity spreadsheet and reports for production. Performs data entry using word processing, spreadsheet or database commands and formats material as required. Interfaces with manufacturing personnel, and supervisors on material status and production planning issues. Email customers and accounting with all corresponding and necessary paperwork for orders. Assist with the coordination and organization of facility invoices. Assist with the reconciliation of freight invoices. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Excellent interpersonal communication skills, flexibility and customer service orientation Proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite (Excel and word) and database entry Good math skills, ability to sort, check, count and verify numbers Critical thinking & problem-solving skills Good telephone communication skills Ability to assume responsibility without direct supervision Willingness to learn Must be able to work any shift as needed based on what the business needs. Work overtime as necessary, including some weekends and after-hours.
