2nd shift (3pm-12:00pm) M-F some weekends

Plant Manager Job Summary:
The Operations and Expediting Coordinator supports plant operations by coordinating customer orders, production planning, shipping, and inventory activities. This role serves as a key point of contact between customers and internal departments to ensure accurate order processing, regulatory compliance, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Enter and manage customer orders in the ERP system (Deacom), including after-hours orders as needed Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams Coordinate order distribution with production, transportation, and customer service Assist with dispatching, Bills of Lading, and direct ship logistics Ensure hazardous materials shipments comply with regulations and maintain required certifications Manage inventory adjustments, quality data entry, and sales order corrections Support month-end reporting, invoicing, and freight reconciliation Maintain production reports and perform general administrative data entry
Minimum Requirements:
Strong communication and customer service skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and ERP systems Good math, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Willingness to learn in a fast-paced manufacturing environment This job description is a complete list of all desired skills but not all are required.
