Description Position Overview:
The Production Controller & Scheduler is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring production schedules to ensure efficient operations, on-time delivery, and optimal use of resources. This role serves as a critical link between production, supply chain, and customer demand, ensuring alignment across departments.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and adjust production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and capacity constraints. Coordinate with procurement, operations, and logistics to ensure materials and resources are available to meet production plans. Monitor production progress, identify delays or bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions. Analyze production data and performance metrics to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and optimize workflows. Communicate schedule changes, priorities, and risks to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner. Balance workload across production lines or teams to maximize output and minimize idle time. Maintain accurate records of production schedules, inventory status, and capacity planning. Support continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing and process optimization. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all scheduling activities. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 2+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and scheduling software. Advanced Excel or data analysis skills preferred. Excellent communication and organizational abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma principles. Familiarity with capacity planning and demand forecasting. Knowledge of inventory management practices.
APICS/CPIM
certification or similar is a plus.
Work Environment:
Manufacturing or production facility setting. May require occasional extended hours to meet production demands. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): On-time production and delivery rates.
