Our Carrollton based Event and Party Rental Business is looking for a well-organized, effective person with strong communication skills who will help schedule and dispatch the daily fleet deliveries and assist the management team with the Driver's and support staff's weekly work schedules You will be dealing with not only the drivers and support staff but also with customers so you must have the ability to communicate with all types of individuals. You will be responsible for scheduling deliveries, installations, pickups, and dispatching effectively and monitoring the inventory movement. This is a full-time position with overtime hours in our busy seasons. The person we are seeking should have these

Roles and Responsibilities:

Responsible for helping to ensure that customers' events are a success making sure that all deliveries and pick-ups are accomplished in a professional, timely and accurate manner and communication with customer and team is professionally handled. Work with Sales and Operations Teams to coordinate daily scheduling and routing for the next 7 consecutive days Coordinate schedule and orders for products, deliveries and pick-ups Coordinate event deliveries between operations team and sales team and will work with the customers to assure event success for the customer Use computer, verbal or phone skills to send crews, vehicles or other field units to appropriate locations Contact with drivers to monitor progress throughout delivery schedule Call clients to advise of delivery changes. Work with dispatching team to provide field units with information about orders, traffic, obstacles and requirements Enter data on daily schedule worksheet and maintain logs and records of calls, activities and other information Work with the management team to create and maintain daily and weekly schedule for drivers and installers Adhere to all company policies, procedures, rules and regulations in written or verbal form. Comply with government safety requirements and other regulations and security in store. Perform other duties as assigned

Working Conditions:

Most work will be primarily indoors with limited exposure to outside elements. May be exposed to general warehouse conditions, in which some work may not be heated or air conditioned. The job requires constant interaction with the delivery drivers and internal staff and has limited interaction with the public.

Minimum Qualifications:

2 years delivery scheduling and/or dispatching experience, strong organizational and customer service skills, and above average computer skills including Microsoft Office and Excel software Must exhibit attention to detail, be organized, and possess a geographical knowledge of the DFW and North Texas area Must have a valid driver's license Bi-Lingual, Must be able to speak English clearly and write legibly and speak Spanish Computer knowledge is mandatory. Training on rental software will be provided. Must pass company drug screen. Must have a full range of motion and dexterity. Must be able to provide, understand and complete instructions furnished in written, oral or scheduled form. Maintain a cooperative working relationship with co-workers.
