We're seeking a highly organized and service-driven Scheduling Coordinator to support daily scheduling and logistics operations within our Environmental Field Services team in Conroe, TX . The ideal candidate is a proactive and highly organized professional with strong communication, scheduling, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively coordinate field service operations in a fast-paced environment. This individual thrives under changing priorities, works collaboratively across field, laboratory, and internal teams, and is committed to supporting operational efficiency, scheduling accuracy, and exceptional customer service. What You'll Do Coordinate and oversee scheduling activities for environmental field services and sample collection operations Assign and optimize field schedules, routes, and staffing resources to support operational efficiency, timely service delivery, and reduced overtime Develop, publish, and maintain daily, weekend, holiday, and monitoring schedules in accordance with operational deadlines and project requirements Coordinate vehicle and equipment maintenance scheduling to ensure operational continuity and resource availability Maintain accurate scheduling, routing, and client information within LIMS and related systems, including site details, GPS coordinates, contacts, access requirements, and special instructions Prepare and distribute schedules, documentation, supplies, and operational resources required to support field activities Coordinate weather-dependent projects and adjust schedules as operational conditions require Serve as a primary point of contact for field technicians regarding scheduling conflicts, operational issues, and field support needs Collaborate with field services, laboratory personnel, client services, and management to support workflow efficiency and service quality Utilize routing software, operational systems, and available technology to support scheduling decisions and workflow management Maintain working knowledge of field services operations, laboratory capabilities, sample handling procedures, holding time requirements, quality assurance standards, and applicable regulatory programs Perform additional duties as assigned Requirements What We're Looking For High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred 1+ years of experience in scheduling, dispatch, logistics coordination, or administrative roles, preferably within field services, laboratory operations, or related industries Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) Working knowledge of scheduling systems, routing software, LIMS, or operational tracking systems strongly preferred Work Schedule Full-time onsite position Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours as needed to support operational demands What We Offer Competitive compensation Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with company match Company-paid life, AD&D, and disability insurance Generous paid time off, sick leave, and paid holidays Paid parental leave and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Tuition reimbursement and professional development support Career growth opportunities within a nationwide organization Our Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion At SPL, we believe that a diverse team is a strong team.
