Job Description:
As a Trade Operations Assistant, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our trading desk. You will assist in processing trades, managing trade documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our trading operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the trading team in executing trades and managing trade confirmations. Process trade tickets and ensure accurate entry into the trading system. Monitor and reconcile trade discrepancies, working closely with internal teams to resolve issues promptly. Maintain and organize trade documentation, including contracts, confirmations, and regulatory filings. Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports on trading activities and performance metrics. Collaborate with compliance and risk management teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. Provide administrative support to the trading team as needed, including scheduling meetings and managing correspondence.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in trade operations or a similar role within the financial services industry is preferred. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with trading platforms or software. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
