About the
Role:
The Production Scheduler plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and timely production of goods within the transportation and warehousing industry. This position is responsible for creating and adjusting production schedules to meet customer demands. The Production Scheduler collaborates closely with the production team to coordinate workflows and resolve any scheduling conflicts or delays. By analyzing production data and forecasting needs, the role supports continuous improvement initiatives and helps maintain high levels of operational efficiency. Ultimately, the Production Scheduler ensures that production targets are met on time, contributing to overall customer satisfaction and business success.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Proven experience in production scheduling, planning, or a related role within the transportation, warehousing, or manufacturing industry. Strong proficiency with scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners. Must be bilingual
English/ Spanish Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain daily production schedules based on customer orders. Greet customers and manage front desk responsibilities. Monitor production progress and adjust schedules proactively to address production changes Analyze production data and forecast future production needs to meet customer expectations Communicate schedule changes and updates to relevant stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment across departments. Communicate inventory to suppliers on weekly basis.

The Production Scheduler utilizes strong analytical skills daily to interpret production data and adjust schedules accordingly. Communication skills are essential for coordinating with multiple departments and external suppliers to maintain alignment and resolve issues promptly. Organizational skills help manage competing priorities and deadlines, ensuring that production targets are consistently met. Additionally, problem-solving abilities support the identification and mitigation of potential bottlenecks or disruptions in the production process. Must be able to work in fast paced, rapidly changing environment.
