Job Description

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing firm, and we are recruiting for a Master Project Controls Scheduler to support a leading nuclear energy organization advancing next-generation small modular reactor (SMR) technology. This is a 40-hour/week staff augmentation contract expected to run through May 2027. This onsite role is required to be located in the City Centre Complex in Houston, TX 77024 or in Corvallis, Oregon 97330. W2

$90 - $100/hour (commensurate with experience)

Part 810 Position Summary The master scheduler works in close coordination with the Portfolio Integration Manager, SMR Product Development, Supply Chain Planners, and Commercial Project Directors to ensure that ongoing product development activities are fully integrated with customer delivery plans via an integrated master schedule. This is a limited duration scheduling position to lead the integration of the existing project development schedule with a standard customer delivery project. The integrated schedule will inform ongoing project execution, task prioritization, future project planning, cross-project interfaces, what-if scenarios, and long-term resource planning. Key Responsibilities Assist with the development and documentation of standards and processes for integrated master scheduling with a focus on integration across large programs. Lead the development and management of the Integrated Master Schedule and coordinate with project controls leads to incorporate Program Level Schedules and other external schedules. Develop and maintain a basis of schedule document. Issue periodic status reports related to program/project progress including critical path analysis, milestone variances, milestone completions, and top-level resource issues. Lead the resolution of issues among various stakeholders. Performs other duties as assigned. Education /
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field is required . 8+ years of experience in project planning / scheduling for large projects (preferably in energy, infrastructure, or industrial sectors) is required . Leadership experience in leading, mentoring, and supporting schedulers is required . Demonstrated experience working with Primavera P6, is required. Must have exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills, with an emphasis on coordinating conflicting demands and priorities and the ability to manage complex programs/projects with multiple work phases. Must be able to demonstrate strong technical writing skills with excellent communication, computer, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Oracle ERP experience (preferred).
