Payment Operations Specialist I Baylor College of Medicine - 3.8 Houston, TX Job Details Full-time $35,591 - $41,872 a year 1 day ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Summary Patient Business Services is seeking a Payment Operations Specialist I to assist with posting daily payment files. Job Duties Receives payments via bank lockbox, credit cards, U.S. mail, or internal mail. Posts payments on Epic to appropriate invoice and group per the explanation of benefits. Processes credit card payments through electronic data capture system. Ensures that all payment batches reconcile to the bank total on an individual basis. Maintains a working knowledge of commercial insurance and managed care insurance terminology and changes. Maintains a working knowledge of all financial classes and paycodes and changes to each. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED. No experience required. Preferred Qualifications One year of payment posting or revenue cycle experience in a healthcare setting. Banking experience.
