Job Description

Introduction Project Scheduler will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedule to ensure work is completed as planned and resources are coordinated effectively. What are you going to do Typical responsibilities include: Creating and maintaining detailed project schedules using tools such as Oracle Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project Defining project activities, milestones, dependencies, and critical paths Coordinating with project managers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to gather schedule updates Tracking project progress against baseline schedules Identifying schedule risks, delays, and bottlenecks Preparing schedule forecasts and recovery plans Producing reports, dashboards, and status updates for leadership and clients Monitoring resource allocation and workload balancing Supporting budgeting and cost-control efforts through schedule analysis Conducting what-if scenario planning and timeline impact assessments Ensuring compliance with project standards, contractual deadlines, and reporting requirements Participating in project planning meetings and risk reviews Read more Essential skills and knowledge Common skills and qualifications: Strong analytical and organizational skills Knowledge of scheduling methodologies such as CPM (Critical Path Method) Experience with Gantt charts, resource loading, and earned value management Advanced Excel and reporting skills Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple timelines Communication and stakeholder coordination abilities 10+ years of experience in Oil and Gas 5+ years of midstream pipeline experience Bachelors Degree preferred Read more
