JOB TITLE
Project Engineer/ Scheduler
JOB DESCRIPTION
Develop and maintain highly complicated schedules for Mission Critical data center construction project. Analyze and approve internal and external reports, including project scheduling, budgeting, cash flow forecast, and project status reports. Review, understand, and interpret engineering and construction plans and contract terms. Estimate quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or labor to determine project feasibility. Assist in streamlining engineering and construction processes and procedures to develop and maintain fabrication schedules. Assign company resources to all scheduled procurement, fabrication and installation activities. Help define project scope, objectives, and technical feasibility. Maintain multiple, concurrent enterprise-wide program schedules. Provide schedule impacts for changes to project scope and time impact analysis. Provide regular graphical reporting to company management, showing resource allocations and loading over multiple enterprise-wide division fabrication and project field activities. Confer with company senior management, supervisors, contractors, or owners to resolve complaints, construction issues, work processes, etc. Assist in communicating progress, issues, and solutions to senior management. Provide technical advice to industrial or managerial personnel regarding design, construction, program modifications, or structural repairs. Direct and supervise first-line workers/laborers. Develop quality control programs and implement environmental protection programs. Assist in identifying and minimizing project risks.
Educational Requirement :
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field or foreign equivalent.
Experience :
Five (5) years minimum project management experience is preferred. Other skills : Extensive project management experience, preferably in construction/custom residential projects. Highly skilled in reading, understanding, and accurately interpreting blueprints and drawings. Strong problem resolution capabilities, dealing with technically complex situations. Fabrication and enterprise-wide scheduling of multiple, concurrent projects. Great communication skills, both written and verbal, professional demeanor. Strong computer skills, familiarity with MS Office (Excel, Word, and Project), and various other project scheduling applications. Fluency in English required, additional languages a plus. Have scheduled multiple, concurrent residential and/or commercial projects valued at $5MM - $20MM.
