GED Full Job Description Summary/Objective:
In this role, the Material Expeditor will be responsible for order processing and fulfillment of customer orders. This role includes working with other warehouse team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and track the status of purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery of materials. Communicate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to address and resolve supply chain issues. Expedite critical or delayed materials to support production schedules. Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure accurate inventory control and efficient distribution. Maintain accurate records of material movement, purchase orders, and supplier interactions. Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the procurement and supply chain process. Work closely with procurement, manufacturing, and engineering teams to meet project requirements. Generate and analyze reports to assess material flow and recommend process improvements. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations regarding materials and supply chain management.

Proven experience as a material expeditor, supply chain coordinator, or similar role. Strong understanding of procurement, inventory management, and supply chain processes. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations is a plus.
