As a Floating Scheduler , you are a key part of daily operations—jumping in where needed to ensure schedules stay covered and communication stays clear. You will primarily focus on current-week scheduling , working quickly to fill open shifts, respond to call-outs, and keep both clients and caregivers supported. This is a high-impact, real-time role where your ability to think quickly, communicate clearly, and stay organized makes a direct difference every day. What You'll Do Manage same-week scheduling and urgent coverage needs for all offices! Quickly fill open shifts when caregivers call out or gaps arise Answer incoming calls from multiple offices and assist with scheduling adjustments Communicate with caregivers and clients to confirm coverage and updates Make real-time changes in the scheduling system to keep care uninterrupted Partner with leadership on escalations or complex coverage situations Keep documentation accurate and up to date in WellSky and internal systems Proactively monitor schedules and identify gaps before they become issues What This Role Feels Like Fast-paced and responsive to real-time needs Problem-solving focused with immediate impact Highly interactive with caregivers, clients, and team members Structured systems, but quick decision-making required Team-oriented with leadership support when needed Who Thrives in This Role Someone who works well under pressure and can move quickly without sacrificing accuracy Strong communicator, especially on the phone Someone who enjoys solving problems and helping people in real time Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities at once Detail-oriented with strong follow-through Comfortable adapting to changing situations throughout the day Qualifications Customer service experience, especially on the phone WellSky experience a plus Comfortable with Microsoft Office and Teams Healthcare or scheduling experience preferred, but not required We provide thorough training for the right person, someone who can stay calm under pressure, communicate clearly, and keep things moving when it matters most.
