Production and Inventory Coordinator

Production and Inventory Coordinator Company:

The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Production and Inventory Coordinator to join the BSL Northport Fulfillment Support Team located in Salt Lake City, Utah. Our Production and Inventory Coordinators support a fast-paced fabrication team by supplying tools and components, shipping and receiving, monitoring and maintaining inventory, and material handling. This position will work on 1st and/or 2nd shift and is 100% on-site.

Position Responsibilities:

Processes and moves materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support the flow of production Monitors work in process and communicates status of parts and materials using automated systems and manual reporting methods to insure parts availability Identifies and solves problems or discrepancies with parts and materials Coordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays Operates forklift, crane, and box truck as required Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 1+ years of Warehouse experience 1+ years of experience operating a Forklift 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Ability to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8-hour shift Ability to walk, stand, climb and descend stairs, bend and lift items, package materials and unload materials from containers frequently throughout the shift Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 1+ years of experience working with inventory management systems 1+ years of experience in the materials planning or inventory control process role 1+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing 1+ years of experience using lean manufacturing principles 1+ years of experience in shipping and receiving
