Plant Scheduler

Job Purpose Ensure efficient daily scheduling of production equipment to meet customer requirements while being mindful of controlling cost for BPG-USA operations. Interact with all production departments as well as support departments and administrative staff. Essential Duties & Job Responsibilities Daily Operations Create and update daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to support plant-level goals. Coordinate with customer service, production, procurement, and logistics to align schedules with material availability and staffing capacity. Monitor actual production output verses planned production output and make adjustments to resolve equipment issues, delays, or workflow changes. Communicate schedule updates to production teams, supervisors, and management to maintain workflow continuity. Analysis & Improvement Utilize ERP systems or scheduling tools to maintain accurate, up-to-date records. Identify and recommend process improvements to increase production efficiency and reduce downtime. Technical Skills Proficiency in ERP systems. Strong analytical, planning abilities, and attention to details. Ability to create and maintain detailed production timelines. Competence in reporting and performance tracking. Interpersonal Skills Strong organizational and time management skills. Strong communication skills across departments and with plant leadership. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive. Collaborative and team-oriented with problem-solving mindset. Ability to train others on ERP system and theory of constraints. Experience Requirements Prior scheduling or production planning experience within a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
