Transportation Scheduler (Part-Time) The Community Health Center of the New River Valley is seeking a part-time Transportation Scheduler (approximately 20 hours/week) to coordinate non-emergency patient transportation for medical appointments to help improve patient access to care. The position will be based in Christiansburg. Responsibilities include scheduling transportation, communicating with patients and transportation providers, documenting arrangements in the electronic medical record, resolving scheduling issues, and providing excellent customer service. Qualified candidates should have a clean/clear Virginia driver's license, knowledge of the New River Valley geography, strong communication and organizational skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to multitask. Previous experience in medical scheduling, dispatch, and customer service in a healthcare setting preferred. Flexible scheduling may be available based on clinic needs.
