Rehabilitation Aide/Scheduler

Position Title Rehabilitation Aide/Scheduler Job Description Purpose & Scope:

The Rehabilitation Outpatient Aide performs initial charge reconciliations. Tracks and facilitates return of Medicare Form from physicians.

Responsible for the following:

faxing, completing weekly inventory and ordering supplies as needed; set up and cleanup of treatment areas; assisting personnel with transferring patients / materials: assist therapist by setting up and cleaning treatment areas; transporting patients from entrance of department as necessary, assisting and / or directing outpatients to the appropriate treatment area as needed, assisting with front office duties as time permits; setting patients up on modalities / exercise equipment per direction of therapists, performing assigned messenger duties, and other duties as assigned.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Experience:

One year of experience in the healthcare field is preferred. Computer experience is required.

Certification/Licensure:

BLS certification required.
