Datacenter Engineer (Part Time / Contract)

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Ingest Operations Technician to support daily ingest operations within a data center environment. The role involves configuring and operating ingest stations, managing quick tray logistics, monitoring ingest processes, and coordinating with project teams to ensure smooth operational workflows. The ideal candidate is organized, technically aware, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced operational environment. Key Responsibilities Ingest Station Operations Configure and operate ingest stations according to operational procedures. Perform troubleshooting and basic issue resolution when required. Start, monitor, and verify ingest processes to ensure successful completion. Escalate technical issues to the appropriate support teams when necessary. Tray Handling & Logistics Manage on-site quick tray handling activities efficiently and accurately. Coordinate inbound and outbound quick tray logistics. Ensure proper tracking and movement of trays within operational workflows. Monitoring & Reporting Maintain accurate operational documentation and reporting using existing templates and systems. Record process statuses, incidents, and completion updates. Provide regular operational updates to project stakeholders and supervisors. Team Coordination Coordinate closely with project teams and operational stakeholders. Support smooth communication between technical and operational teams. Assist with process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives.

Work Schedule Required availability:

5 days per week , with possible extension to 6 days based on operational needs . Required Qualifications Experience working in a data center environment or similar operational setting. Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.). Ability to work independently with a conscientious and detail-oriented approach. Good organizational and coordination skills. Basic technical troubleshooting abilities. Preferred Skills Experience with operational monitoring processes. Understanding of logistics coordination and workflow handling. Ability to adapt quickly to repetitive operational tasks and routines. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Pay:
