We are hiring a full-time Scheduler / Coordinator to service our fleet of company drivers and owner operators. Primary responsibilities of this position include (but are not limited to): Working with customers and dispatchers to resolve issues which arise in the day to day activities of the dispatch department Answer phones and serve as the first point of contact for customers Communicate with Drivers to gather times and weights information Verify information against the customer's appointment time and communicates this information to the customer Sends all communication on customer detention delays so as to avoid billing issues Verifies the container is clear to turn in to the port, avoiding timely delays GTL Transport Co. offers a competitive salary and benefits package that includes a generous company contribution toward medical insurance, dental, vision, 100% paid Life and AD&D insurance, matching 401K Plan, paid time off that begins accruing on day one and paid holidays.
