Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Agricultural Operations Coordinator to manage the critical administrative and logistical cycles of our seasonal farming operations. This role is designed to support the AgChem Manager with data entry, chemical procurement and distribution, communicating between onsite managers and office management, collecting harvest data and bins movement. Key Responsibilities by
Season Winter:
Strategic Planning & Procurement Manage Agworld data entry for upcoming crop plans. Print plans for current crop year. Help coordinate and track input ordering to ensure all materials are on-site for the spring.Spring:
Logistics & Delivery Management Monitor and track all incoming deliveries of seeds, fertilizers, and supplies. Update operational plans in real-time as spring field conditions shift.Summer:
Coordination & Preparation Manage AgWorld data entry based on new information. Help develop and communicate the "War Room" coordination plan to prepare all departments for the upcoming harvest.Fall:
Harvest Execution & Reconciliation Track daily harvest progress and maintain real-time logistics data.Bin Reconciliation:
Take full ownership of reconciling bins to ensure 100% accuracy in yield and inventory tracking.Requirements & Qualifications Administrative Knowledge:
Manage complex data entry, reconcile inventory, and maintain digital records (experience with Agworld or similar Farm Management Information Systems is a plus).Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; must be able to interface confidently with managers and field teams to relay "War Room" directives. Attention toDetail:
High precision in work, particularly regarding bin reconciliation and inventory tracking where errors impact the bottom line.Adaptability:
Ability to pivot focus based on the quarterly needs of the agricultural cycle. •Experience in agriculture is helpful but we are willing to train the right candidate.Pay:
