Job Description

Position Summary This role will be primarily responsible for assisting in overall distillery operations with a large focus on processing spirits. This work includes cleaning tanks, retrieving barrels, dumping barrels, filling barrels, proofing spirits, composing blends, bottling line operations and picking finished goods orders. This role is a mix of physical, mechanical and detail oriented work in handling high value aged spirits for one the largest craft distilleries in the Midwest. Reports to : Operations Director Responsibilities Barrel, proof and prepare spirits for bottling. Includes re-barreling work and cleaning protocols. Assist in distillery operations including but not limited to cooking and bottling line operations. Support finished goods order picking and preparation to ship. Clearly communicate and adhere to documentation requirements for internal operations and government reporting. Support ongoing work as needed including but not limited to overall facility maintenance and cleaning. Qualifications & Requirements 21 years or older to apply. Able to lift and carry 50-75 pounds. Possess and maintain a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation. Consistently available Monday to Friday for 8-hour shift (typically 8am - 4pm). Organized and strong communicator, verbally and in writing. Documenting work is critical. Team player with a strong work ethic and pride in work product. Detail oriented and eager to learn. Compensation & Benefits Starting at $27 per hour (based on experience) and year-end bonus potential of 10% of annual compensation. This is a non-exempt role with possible overtime. Generous employer benefits package that covers health, dental, vision, life. 3% Employer retirement match contribution available after 12 months of tenure. 2 weeks paid time off along with major holidays.
