As an Expeditor for Geneva ChopHouse at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, you will deliver efficient and exceptional plated menu items while maintaining a sense of urgency in the execution of the expo line and fast-efficient clearing of tabletops throughout the restaurant. Grand Geneva in Lake Geneva is a 1,300 acre, AAA Four Diamond resort and spa recognized as a Top Resort in the Midwest by Conde Nast Traveler. This award-winning, all-seasons destination features over 746 guest accommodations, the WELL Spa & Salon, two championship golf courses, fitness facilities, a ski hill and terrain park, and 9 unique food and beverage outlets. Thoroughly understand the menu, wine list, ingredients, preparation, and expected service. Deliver all required Service Accents to the guest (e.g., SSA presentation, bread presentation, horseradish/cheese grating, and dessert presentation) Maintain a neat, clean, organized, safe work environment Transport and polish clean wares, utensils, and accessories to area needed Must be proficient in multi-tasking and bridging the service between the Front of House and Back of House Must comply with opening and closing duties as well as running side work necessities Communicate directly and consistently with the culinary and management team Listen to and resolve customer complaints regarding service, product, and personnel Must effectively process service responsibilities from service staff, such as from servers and bartenders Has the ability to verbally describe and present the hotel's food offerings in a professional manner Perform other duties as assigned What do you bring to the role? High school or equivalent required One year or more of service assistance experience in a fine dining outlet Able to read, write, and speak in English Excellent communication skills and familiarity with the hospitality industry Ability to establish and maintain an effective relationship with all department management, staff, personnel, and general public Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays What's in it for you?
