Job Description

IMS Electrol Manufacturing is a leading wire harness company specializing in stamping, wire and cable harness assembly, and power whips. We are currently seeking a dedicated Production Scheduler to join our team and play a crucial role in our manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure on-time delivery of products while optimizing resource utilization Coordinate with production teams, procurement, and other departments to prioritize and schedule manufacturing activities Analyze production data, including capacity, inventory levels, and demand forecasts, to identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions Monitor production progress and address any issues or delays to minimize disruptions and ensure timely completion of orders Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance overall productivity Utilize scheduling ERP software (Epicor/Vantage) and tools to create, update, and communicate production schedules effectively Prepare reports to provide insights into production performance, including key metrics, trends, and areas for improvement Qualifications- 3+ years of experience in production scheduling or related role
- Proficiency in ERP systems (EPICOR/VANTAGE a definite plus)
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a challenging environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
