About The Opportunity This position is responsible for greeting customers and visitors with a positive, professional, and customer focused demeanor while working independently to provide a high level of administrative support across departments. Key Duties & Responsibilities Maintains confidentiality and exercised discretion in handling sensitive information. Screens mail as required, responds to information requests, provides necessary follow-up and/or forwards to appropriate party. Serves as receptionist as required, including administering visitor registration and safety protocols as applicable and directs phone calls. Schedules and coordinates meetings on site. Orders supplies and food for meetings and day to day activities. Files paperwork in employee files. Work with peers and other departments to improve quality and performance. Participates in the employee engagement committee efforts. Actively participate in lean manufacturing initiatives. Track and verify employee training/qualification. Assist with timekeeping and verification. Plan and prepare for operational visits and events, new hire onboarding and training. Create, update, post to TVs and distribute announcements, quarterly newsletters, information, etc. This position requires proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Previous administrative experience is preferred. Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors. Education & Experience High School Diploma or Equivalent At least 6 months of relevant experience required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of and ability to manage the major responsibilities, accountabilities, and organization of the function or department. Knowledge of processes, tools and services for managing the acquisition, maintenance and dissemination of physical and electronic information. Ability to carry out ongoing office administration tasks effectively and efficiently in support of local and remote teams. Knowledge of and ability to use office support tools available at the desktop (e.g., word processing, e-mail, presentation software and spreadsheets). Knowledge of and ability to use personal computers or workstations. Physical Requirements & Work Environment Primarily works in an office environment with occasional time spent in a production and/or warehouse setting. Frequent lifting up to 25 lbs., occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. Frequent standing/walking may be required. Two companies, one vision.
