Job Description

St. Mary's Medical Center is looking for a Scheduler for the Cardiac Cath Lab . Under the direct supervision of the Department Manager or designee, schedules procedures in the department, confirms insurance authorization for the procedure and coordinates with Pre-Registration and provider offices to obtain necessary information. .
Requirements:
EDUCATION
High school graduate.
EXPERIENCE
Scheduling and/or authorization experience desirable. Knowledge of neurophysiology and/or sleep medicine procedures optimal.
SKILLS:
Must be able to type at least 45 wpm, have basic knowledge of medical terminology, pleasing personality suitable to meeting the public and associating with co-workers.
