Job Description
VGM Fulfillment is a national leader in CPAP machine and resupply order fulfillment. As an employee-owned company, every person at VGM has a personal stake in seeing business succeed. VGM Fulfillment Job Purpose Summary:
T his position is responsible for daily unloading and stocking products while checking the quantity and quality of the merchandise. In addition, receiving associates must enter information about incoming merchandise into our operating system. Full-time, Monday-Friday, 2nd shift 3:00 PM - 11:30PM Key Responsibilities:
Consistently meets or exceeds departmental expectations. Accurately take inventory of items that have been received. Match items to their specific purchase orders. Receive items into scanner. Moving received product to secondary and/or primary locations. Maintain 48-hours receiving of all freight and ground receipts. Driving a fork truck to move pallets of items Be available to come in early and stay late as needed to provide adequate support to the business. Maintain a clean and safety work environment to prevent accidents and injuries Maintain compliance, safety, and quality standards by ensuring strict adherence to company policies and procedures Following safety procedures, maintaining precise records of all product movements, and implementing quality control measures are crucial Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working with others of varying backgrounds. Set a positive example through personal attendance and time management. Be willing and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment to support business objectives. Demonstrate accurate verbal and written communication skills. Work cooperatively in a team environment to achieve business goals and growth opportunities While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to assist with other departmental functions upon request. Maintain a clear and organized work environment by ensuring all work areas are kept tidy and free of hazards by regularly cleaning and organizing tools, equipment, and materials Embody theVGM Power of One Principles Key Qualifications:
Fork truck experience preferred but not required. Able to work with others. Willing to work overtime if needed which include a few Saturdays, or a couple extra hours during the weekEducation:
High School diploma orGED Physical Requirements:
