Job Title:
1st Shift Shipping Clerk Job Description Join a dynamic distribution company specializing in automotive parts as a Shipping Clerk/Warehouse Worker. This long-term position offers an engaging role with flexible start times ranging from 5:30 AM to 6:30 AM and end times between 2 PM and 3 PM. Be part of a dedicated team that ensures efficient operations in receiving, restocking inventory, dispatch, and overstock management. Responsibilities Receive and restock inventory efficiently. Dispatch and manage overstock items. Load and unload materials from trucks safely. Break down boxes and package items for shipment. Use order rolling stairs, pickers, and RF scanners to fulfill orders. Assist Warehouse Supervisors as needed. Package items meticulously for shipment. Pick orders using stairs to reach automotive industry materials. Essential Skills Experience in picking, packing, and packaging. Proficiency with RF scanners and pallet jacks. Ability to handle inventory and shipping/receiving tasks. Physical capability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds, frequently lift up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds. Comfortable with utilizing rolling safety ladders. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to speak, read, and write English. Ability to stand, walk, sit, push, pull, and reach with hands and arms. Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or squatting. Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Why Work Here? The position is based on a 1st shift schedule, Monday to Friday, with mandatory overtime up to 2 hours daily and occasional Saturdays. Dress code includes plain shirts, jeans without holes, and closed-toed shoes. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brea, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
