Purpose and Scope We are expanding our Operations Team with the addition of a Shipping and Receiving Associate . In this role you will report directly to Shipping & Receiving Supervisor to provide leadership in the tasks as outlined below.

Compensation:

Range of compensation: $20 - $24 per hour depending on experience and skills .

Costa Mesa, California Major Duties and Responsibilities:

To continue our tradition of excellence, you will join your team in performing the following tasks… Process all inbound and outbound shipments including but not limited to: sorting, logging, delivering, packing, labeling and shipping. Audit each shipment prior to packing to ensure that goods match the sales order. Pack and label products based on established standards. Prepare shipping and receiving documentation; maintain orderly files for all documentation. Participate in scheduling of daily transportation. Process all receiving transactions and paperwork. Inspect all incoming freight for damage; follow-up with appropriate staff to resolve issues. Assist in maintaining material inventory levels. Assist in maintaining safety and housekeeping standards in warehouse shipping and receiving area. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Required Skills and Competencies:

The ideal candidate will have the following experience: 1+ years related experience or equivalent in a shipping and receiving/warehousing role. Familiarity with shipping practices and handling methods. Experience with processing international shipments and familiarity with customs documentation requirements. Commitment to excellence, organization, and high standards. Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and experience interfacing with ERP and warehousing software. Able to stand for extended periods of time. Ability to manage priorities and workflow. Acute attention to detail. Ability to communicate in English (verbal and written). Valid forklift license. Must have valid driver's license.
