On-site | Cold Storage Warehouse Join Our Team We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Shipping & Receiving Associate to support daily warehouse operations by coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, preparing shipping documentation, and ensuring inventory accuracy. This position plays a key role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations and delivering excellent service to our customers and transportation partners. What You'll Do Shipping & Receiving Operations Manage driver check-in and check-out processes. Assign dock doors and apply trailer seals (glad locks) as required. Verify all inbound and outbound shipments have complete and accurate documentation. Generate Bills of Lading (BOLs), shipping labels, and other shipping documents through the Warehouse Management System (WMS). Coordinate and schedule inbound deliveries from vendors and carriers. Assemble orders and prepare products for shipment. Ensure sealed trailers are properly accounted for upon arrival and departure. Inventory & Documentation Record shipment information including weights, freight charges, and trailer capacity utilization. Identify, document, and report damaged products, shortages, and shipment discrepancies. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly shipping and receiving reports. Audit warehouse supply inventory and communicate replenishment needs to management. Maintain accurate records and support inventory control initiatives. Operational Support Serve as a liaison between warehouse operations, transportation, and office administration. Follow all company safety policies, SQF food safety requirements, and regulatory compliance standards. Participate in safety meetings and incident reviews as required. Assist with special projects and provide support during peak operational periods. Work scheduled holidays and overtime when business needs require. Qualifications Education High School Diploma or GED required. Experience 1-2 years of warehouse, logistics, shipping, or receiving experience preferred. Forklift certification or experience required. Experience working with WMS systems preferred. Skills & Abilities Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work effectively with drivers, vendors, customers, and team members. Computer Skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Experience with warehouse management systems and data entry preferred. Working Conditions This position operates within a refrigerated and cold storage warehouse environment. Employees may be exposed to temperatures ranging from refrigerated conditions to freezer environments as low as -10°F for extended periods. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 20 pounds. Ability to work safely in warehouse and cold storage environments. Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and perform routine physical warehouse activities.
