Job Description
Job Summary As a Print & Ship Counter Associate, you'll be the friendly face in our new store in Lindsay, guiding customers through their printing and shipping needs. This energetic role combines customer service with technical expertise, ensuring each project is handled efficiently and accurately. You'll manage print jobs, process online orders, assist with packaging and shipping, and provide exceptional support to clients while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Two positions are currently available:
one for the morning shift (Mondays 8AM-2PM, TWTh 8AM-1:30PM, Fri 8AM-1PM) and one for the afternoon shift (Mondays 12-6PM, TWTh 12:30-6PM, Fri 12-5PM). Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assess their printing and shipping requirements with enthusiasm. Operate office equipment including computers, printers, and scanners. Prepare shipments by packing items securely, taping and labeling packages accurately. Process orders received online by picking the right products off the shelves, preparing them for shipping, and updating the order records. Answer phone calls from customers and assist them as needed. Conduct quality control checks on printed materials to meet standards for color accuracy, finishing details, and overall presentation. Maintain inventory of supplies like inks, papers, labels, and packaging materials; restock as needed to keep operations running smoothly. What we're looking for Good dexterity, ability to learn new processes and apply them accurately and efficiently. Experience using a computer. Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently; forklift experience is a plus. Good physical fitness, as tasks include using a stepladder to reach for products from shelves, some weighing up to 40 lbs. Basic understanding of quality control standards. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and a passion for accuracy while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Effective communication skills to assist customers clearly and professionally while maintaining a friendly and cheerful disposition. Commitment to reliability and dependability.
