Full Job Description Position Summary :
Proworks Services, Inc. is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to manage the accurate receipt, identification, documentation, and shipment of customer materials. This position plays a critical role in maintaining product traceability, ensuring customer requirements are met, and supporting production by coordinating material flow throughout the facility. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Receiving - Receive incoming raw materials, customer-owned material, and vendor deliveries. Verify received material against purchase orders, packing slips, and customer documentation. Inspect incoming shipments for damage, quantity discrepancies, and proper identification. Record and maintain material heat numbers, certifications, and traceability documentation. Label and stage material for production while maintaining identification throughout the process. Notify Purchasing or Management of damaged or incorrect shipments Shipping Prepare finished orders for shipment according to customer specifications. Verify part quantities, dimensions, packaging requirements, and shipping documentation before release. Ensure all required certifications, inspection reports, and packing slips accompany shipments. Package materials to prevent damage during transportation. Maintain accurate shipping records and update ERP or inventory systems. Generate bills of lading, shipping labels, and other required documents. Schedule shipments with freight carriers, LTL, UPS, FedEx, or customer-arranged transportation. Warehouse Maintain accurate inventory locations and material identification. Move material safely using forklifts, overhead cranes, or other equipment (training/certification provided as required). Keep warehouse and shipping areas clean, organized, and safe. Assist production by staging material and moving completed jobs between departments. Qualifications Required High school diploma or GED. Minimum 2 years of shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Bilingual in English and Spanish is required Ability to read packing slips, purchase orders, and shipping documents. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
