Position Summary:
Position is responsible for receiving products, unboxing and inspecting raw material.
Essential Responsibilities:
The following job functions are not all-inclusive. The employee will be required to perform other job-related tasks and responsibilities requested by supervisor. Job duties and requirements may change as required by needs of Company. Essential Duties in Order of Priority Frequency Performed 1. Open order report and review incoming materials and prioritize receipts Daily 2. Unloading raw materials and placing them in designated warehouse space Daily 3. Receive, inspect and record shipments of raw material in ERP System Daily 4. Maintaining material traceability throughout the process Daily 5. Putting away prepaid consigned materials Weekly 6. Inventory Management - bin changes, audit materials to ensure system integrity As Needed 7. Safely operate a forklift to move raw materials As Needed 8. Recycling coordination with internal department and external vendors of cardboard and metals As Needed 9. Load, stack empty crates and/or pallets on trailer for recycling As Needed 10. Material rejections during delivery or work in progress As Needed 11. Support onsite TW material audits Monthly 12. Other reasonable duties as business and operational needs dictate
As Needed Qualifications:
(minimum required to perform and be successful in this position)
    Education:
    High School diploma or equivalent
      Experience:
      1 year in a warehouse environment ERP experience is a plus
      • Experience/knowledge of equipment, machines, tools, etc: Experience working in a warehouse environment (e.
      g., order selector/picking product storage, product staging, powered pallet jack/forklifts, etc.). Experience working with racking systems and loading/unloading pallets (e.g., pulling and placing pallets on/off vertical product racking systems and trucks, maximizing storage by stacking products vertically, etc.)
      • Communication and Language skills: Requires the ability communicate verbally and in writing in a clear, easily understood manner Requires English verbal and written skills
      • Mathematical skills: Requires basic math skills to perform basic calculations such as addition and subtraction
      Computer Skills:
      Requires basic PC skills. Basic knowledge of MSOffice. Working knowledge of Excel
      • Reasoning ability: Must be able to make good decision based on the facts
      Certificates or Licenses:
      Forklift certification through Steico
      • Other Knowledge, Skills and/or
      Abilities:
      Ability to work in fast paced environment Strong team player and ability to work in a team environment Flexibility and Adaptability Detail oriented
      Supervision Received:
      Receives instructions as needed from department management. Understands daily requirements and works independently to achieve daily goals
      Supervisory Responsibilities:
      This position has no supervisory authority over others Discretion and independent

      Must be able to make sound judgments of safe practices while working.
